Galway Gone is a work of fiction in the romance and chick lit sub-genres and was penned by author Gabrielle S. Neord. Recommended for mature readers, the work contains some graphic sexual content and the use of explicit language throughout. Our story centers on protagonist Julie, whose sheltered upbringing in Nebraska hasn’t really prepared her for the ways of the world, let alone the ways of romance. When she meets Irish musician Kieran, a yearning for more out of life awakens in her, and so begins a journey toward coming of age, sexual awakening, and finding the person she was always meant to be, as well as the one she’s meant to be with.

“Author Gabrielle S. Neord spins a beautifully woven tale of emotive and entertaining fiction to deliver chick lit which has real issues and realistic characters at its heart. New adult audiences and chick lit fans alike will enjoy the development of Julie, who is highly relatable in her dreams, ideals, and naivety as the novel begins. Her journey with Kieran opens her eyes to what the world truly has to offer, and the atmospheric settings of different cities around the globe are well-drawn to highlight and enhance this wonderful and romantic experience for her. The drama of the plot has plenty of ups and downs, and the issue of true sexual awakening is dealt with in a realistic and sensitive manner. Overall, Galway Gone is an uplifting and highly enjoyable read from an emotionally intelligent author.”
