Allyna Rae Storms, an up-and-coming poet from Minnesota, announces the release of her first poetry collection, Make Art. Make War. This powerful work dives deep into themes of resilience, healing, and the emotional journey of overcoming trauma. The collection is split into three distinctive segments: The Prophecy, Memento Mori, and Revenant. These sections represent the journey from questioning what we deserve to accepting loss for growth and ultimately embracing a more confident self.

Storms’ work captures the raw emotions surrounding healing from both private and public injustices, such as grief, betrayal, love, loss, confusion, and strength. The poet writes to give voice to those struggling to heal, offering a pathway through words.
